Rexotherm manufactures industrial thermometers of two main types:

Bimetallic thermometers:

Commonly used in HVAC systems, furnaces and other applications where robustness and simplicity are important.
This type of thermometer uses two different metals that expand differently with changes in temperature.
The difference in expansion causes a pointer to move across a scale that shows the temperature.

Gas-filled or liquid-filled thermometers:

Used, for example, in areas where electrical signals are not suitable for various reasons, such as in certain chemical processes.
These thermometers contain a gas or liquid that expands or contracts with changes in temperature.
This expansion or contraction moves a pointer across a scale.
